My performance, framed within a structure where the body intertwines with red elastics evoking the thread of life, is a visual and physical reflection on the movements that lead us forward and back over our own steps. It is an endless cycle, a life within another life, where each turn and each tension reflect our constant struggle to understand time and our place within it.

Time, that abstract and subjective concept, becomes the protagonist here. The perception of time is not uniform; each observer brings their own experience and rhythm when contemplating the piece. The red elastics not only symbolize the connection between moments but also the relativity of time and the reality that each individual projects in their interaction with the performance.

The movement of the body, both constrained and liberated by the elastics, seems to strive to impose order on the incoherent. What I wish to suggest is that any search for coherence ultimately collapses in the face of the randomness of existence. My work is not an attempt to rationalize time but an invitation to feel its flow, its resistance, and its elasticity.

In this struggle of tensions, where the contingent meets the absolute, a question arises: can we truly control time, adversity, chance? No, but we shape our perception of it, finding peace in movement, in the setbacks that propel us forward, and in the loops that form our personal narrative.

The red elastic, as a guiding thread, binds not only the elements of the structure but also the ideas of temporality, relativity, and existence. This work does not seek to impose a singular truth about time but to open a space where each observer can find their own rhythm and their own story in the dialogue between body, material and space.
